VZ |
31.88 |
Verizon
(VZ)
Jim: I did
not like that announcement about
the pension… I should have been
able to figure that out myself…
in the end it has got a 6%
yield… as long as that yield is
above 5%, I am going to continue
to hound home that I think
Verizon makes sense for
investors… I like FiOS, I think
they are going to pick up some
share… I think Verizon wireless
is on fire… but most importantly
I liked it, and have liked it
all the way down for the yield…
I will get off of the Verizon
bus when it yields less than 5%.
Price target to sell Verizon:
When the
dividend yield falls below
5.0%.

|
 |
COMS |
7.64 |
3Com Corporation (COMS)
Jim: You are
done… the question is answered
like this… sell, sell, sell..
you have got a huge, huge win…
Congratulations in 3Com… now, we
try to find the next 3Com… that
is a home run… do not turn it
into a triple… take the profits…
ring the register… and then we
look for the next 3Com… that is
how we play it on Mad Money.

 |
MYL |
17.77 |
Mylan, Inc. (MYL)
Jim: No, not
Mylan is just not my favorite…
Why do I want to have that just
old generic model...when I can
go buy
Teva Pharmaceutical
Industries Ltd. (TEVA),
which has the best generic and
has proprietary, in other words
prescription drugs?… I think you
swap out of Mylan and get into
Teva, even though it was at its
52 week high today… cause you
obviously have a pre-election
for the generics.

GLW |
20.49 |
Corning Inc. (GLW)
Jim: I
should, I should… Corning blew
up so many times… that I have
not gotten people back into it…
that is my bad… I see everybody
raising numbers now… if I missed
the Corning boat… I think that
it can go to $26 when I sold it
for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust… it
is an up stock so to speak.. I
think that it gets trapped at
$20 by opts expiration at the
end of the week… but I like the
story, I think that you are on a
winner.. I wish that I had been
there earlier.
|
|
 |
SLM |
11.48 |
SLM Corp. - Sallie Mae (SLM)
Jim: Well,
Sallie Mae was my speculative
stock of the year last year and
I am not going to go back to the
well… I still like it at
$11.60... I recommended it at
the $6 range, but I am not going
to tell you to go buy that stock
up here when I told you to buy
it at $6... if anything, you
know how I feel, never turn a
profit into a loss… that is what
I coach here on Mad Money.
|
|
 |
STZ |
15.69 |
Constellation Brands Inc.
(STZ)
Jim: Not my
favorite, not my favorite… and
that beer business though , I
have got to tell you, I saw that
Heineken deal with the Tecate
and the Dos Equis, and that was
a big deal… I would not sell
here, but if it got north of
$20, you ring the register and
be thrilled that you got out
without a big loss… because that
stock has been a real bow-wow….
and nothing can change that.

UBSI |
21.36 |
United Bankshares Inc. (UBSI)
Jim: You know
this is a very good West
Virginia based bank, which maybe
you bank at… I think that these
regional banks are now great
places to be… However, while I
am at it, let me tell you that I
recommended Associated
Banc-Corp. (ASBC)
yesterday... they priced the
deal at $11.15... I would not
mind if you took a little profit
from that, did some
schnitzeling… that is okay, if
you got in on my account.

WNR |

Western Refining Inc.
(WNR)
Jim: Oh you
know, I do not really care for
the refiners… If I want to own a
refiner… I do not want to own
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO),
I do not want to own Western … I
want to own
Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO),
which I have recommended for
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust.. .or
Chevron Corp. (CVX*),
which did indicate just last
night that refining margins are
bad… but has got great growth…
so you need to be in integrated…
if you own refining, you need to
be part of a Marathon or a
Chevron… that is really it… do
not own it just by itself, the
business is too crummy.

CRM |
68.29 |
Salesforce.com (CRM)
Jim: Well,
that is easy… the Eagles will
really hurt you, Salesforce.com
did a convertible debt deal…
once that convertible stock is
digested, you have got to
pull the trigger and buy… I do not
like to see these deals because
what happens is
arbitragers buy the convertible bond
and then they sell the common
stock against it… that is what
is hurting you… I think the
pressure is over… I would be a
buy, buy, buyer of CRM right
here.

M |
16.37 |
Macy's
(M)
Jim: Macy’s
is ridiculous in that its at
$16... the company is saying
that business is better than
expected, Terry Lundgren (CEO)
is doing a great job… let me
throw in
Saks Inc.
(SKS),
let me throw in
Coach Inc. (COH),
let me throw in
Tiffany & Co. (TIF)…
These are all winners.. the high
end is good, I regard Macy’s as
the high end… and by the way, I
still like
VF Corp. (VFC*)
… how great Danny did with
the...(inaudible) announcement…
J. Crew has had a great run,
everyone is getting skittish…
not me, I like them.

Green Mountain Coffee
Roasters (GMCR)
Jim: You are
talking about my Keurig…
remember the caller… this is a
great one, you will love this,
you will absolutely love this…
so a caller asked me about if I
like the Keurig, I do not know
jack, so people say you moron,
that is Green Mountain coffee…
it is a little cup that you put
it in, you put it in like a Paul
Newman’s, it comes out… it brews
in like 30 seconds, my whole
life has been changed… Green
Mountain, besides my own
personal experience, is a buy… I
like this $5 pullback… I want to
own it.
|
|
 |
ATVI |
10.77 |
Activision Blizzard Inc. (ATVI)
Jim: No, no,
no… the only one that I am going
to recommend is
Electronic Arts (ERTS)…
Now everyone is down on me
saying Jim, the Electronics Arts
blew up last night…now wait a
second, this is why I
recommended the stock… it is a
social networking play because
of the "Playfish" acquisition…
it has got a lot of cash … it is
only down $1.50, they lowered
earnings, what does that say? It
means that you have got to buy,
buy, buy and you have got to
sell, sell, sell Activision.

MTW |
13.40 |
Manitowoc Co. Inc. (MTW)
Jim: Well,
you know MTW has improved… it
reminds me, it was struggling,
it paid too much, it has made
some uh… frankly, it made a bad
acquisition… however, however,
along with
Bucyrus
(BUCY),
and Cramer-fave,
Joy Global (JOYG),
it has been doing well, it has
moved back… the crane business,
people think is going to come
back… none the less, I am not a
believer… I would rather see you

SEED |
13.54 |
Origin Agritech Limited (SEED)
Jim: Can you
believe that… I look at that
thing everyday and it is just a
monster trader… how can I help?
You probably asked me whether I
like it… you know what, I think
that it is… and I know that I
usually do not punt like this…
it is too hard… it is literally
too hard, they had a monster
good quarter, then a bad
quarter, then a monster good
quarter… this one is too hard
for me… sometimes you have to
say to yourself, you know what,
I am leaving that one to others…
too darn hard for Cramer.

PCU |
34.51 |
Southern Copper Corp. (PCU)
Jim: Well,
then you are in good shape my
good man.. because that is one
of the cheapest copper producers
in the world… that stock is 2
points off of its high, I think
that it can go much higher… and
I am strictly in the buy, buy,
buy camp with PCU… do not
forget, that is the old Southern
Peru Copper… and Peru, although
they could not find any
representation of Peru other
than like a picture of Macchu
Picchu… we do like the country,
the shining path is now history.
|
|
 |
ALOG |
39.55 |
Analogic Corporation
(ALOG)
Jim: I should
have been recommending this
stock the whole time… it has got
this great pastiche, if not
mosaic, of some medical
business… you know why have I
not been recommending this? You
know what? I have got to do more
work… I have got to find out why
I have not been recommending it,
maybe there is something that I
have been missing… let me come
back on that… I know I got some
holes, I did not know Analogic
and I did not know national
beverage… that is okay, better
just to own it… how can you know
so many stocks? I don’t.
|
|
 |
BZ |
5.79 |
Boise, Inc. (BZ)
Jim: I like
this stock…Now, here is the rap
on this stock, why people do not
want to get in it… because a
year ago it was… this thing has
had some move, I mean a year ago
this week it was at .02 cents…
everyone says wait a second, I
am late at $5... I like
Corrugated, I like
Temple-Inland Inc. (TIN)
better… I like
International Paper (IP)
better… but you know, that is a
decent spec.

22.27 |
Pitney Bowes Inc. (PBI)
Jim: Alright,
Pitney Bowes, I am troubled… I
have it in my book
Getting
Back To Even,
I like it… I think that dividend
is safe… I bumped into this
terrific guy when I was in
Mexico recently, and the guy was
like a competitor, a Mom and Pop
competitor… he is killing them…
and he made me rethink this
whole story… I am not kidding,
when you meet a guy and he tells
you this story, Pitney Bowes may
have gotten too fat… we should
have them on this show to verify
again that that dividend is
safe…. that is my pledge, I will
not just reiterate again that
the dividend is safe… I need to
know more, Pitney Bowes.

TNDM |
19.79 |
Neutral Tandem, Inc. (TNDM)
Jim: I do not
know why it is not doing better,
honestly… Neutral Tandem has
got… I mean Neutral Tandem is
kind of like a tsunami play… but
it just does not have any mo-jo…
let me do some work over the
weekend, I will come back with a
better reason about why that
stock does not act well… because
it is in some bearish roll, when
it is surrounded by bulls.
|
|
 |
MNKD |
10.37 |
MannKind Corp. (MNKD)
Jim: Too
hyped, too hyped… there is just
too much hype involved this
insulin play… insulin would be a
great thing to have but the CEO
talked the game up.. I think
that it is a too talked up game
stock… it is not as bad as Bio
?, which I told you was way
over-hyped.. but I worry about
hyped stories… I say ex-nay,
MannKind-nay.

UNG |

United States Natural Gas ETF
(UNG)
Jim: Listen
man, you have got to go buy
Getting

and go buy it now… I literally
tell you why that is one of the
most dangerous games in the
world… you do not want to be in
that natural gas ETF… it is just

Altria (MO*)
Jim: Well,
you do not have to pick my brain
because it is right in front of
your head… man I have got to
tell you something, this is a 6%
yielder that has got good
growth.. it is integrating the
UST transaction, it is going to
be monster good… I like the
accelerator revenue growth in
Phillip Morris, that is the old
name… and MO, Altria… and I
think that you should buy, buy,
buy like it do… because it is
one of my large positions in
ActionAlertsPlus.com, my
charitable trust.
|
|
 |
FLIR |
31.80 |
FLIR Systems Inc. (FLIR)
Jim: You want
to hold it, this is thermal imaging…
this is a domestic security play, we
have said it since the beginning of the
year… 2010 is the year of the active
investor, and why is that? Because we
are going to invest in domestic security
plays… FLIR fits that picture, I want
you in it.
|
|
 |
CKXE |
5.33 |
CKX, Inc (CKXE)
Jim: No, no,
way too… look this is a Silvamen,
I know Silvamen from
Philadelphia, know of him… I
have got to tell you, this is
like the Freemantle, Manti Idle
play, it is too dicey… it is too
up in the air… it is a talent
play, I do not invest in talent…
I am not a guy who is a general
manager or an owner of a team..
that is what I feel like with
this one, I do not want you to
touch it.
|
|
 |
NUE |
47.91 |
Nucor (NUE)
Jim: My buddy
Dan DiMicco… Dan this is a
personal appeal to you, as well
as to the large of your stock…
Dan, I need you to be more
optimistic about the corporate
situation… because Nucor I think
is a buy, and a lot of times
when I speak to Dan I do not
want to recommend it… but it
does not matter, Nucor is the
best steel manufacturer in the
world… and in an environment
where growth is getting better,
that makes me want to pull the
trigger, NUE, right here… I
cannot believe that it is below
$50... I want to buy, buy, buy…
Dan DiMicco get on board with
me.

Jim: I was a
little… I will tell you, I was a
little bit turned off by the
Verizon
(VZ)
price war… Verizon announced a
price war today… but you know
what, like
Centurytel Inc. (CTL),
like
Windstream Corporation (WIN),
I am going to stick with the
idea that Alaska is good on the
dividend… I would always, once
again, everyone of these
companies, these little guys… if
the CEO’s want to come on, you

the dividend is fine… I welcome

Jim: A little
profit taking, a little profit
taking… you know I went positive
in the teens, this is flash
memory that does… this is a very
good technology company with
gadgets galore… everyone is
selling all of these stocks
because of
Intel (INTC),
which I bought hand over fist
today… I am not a seller, I am a
buyer.
|
|
 |
T |
25.79 |
AT&T (T)
Jim: This is
because of the price war between
AT&T (T)
and
Verizon
(VZ)…
I mean these guys really are at
war, this is no thumb war, this
is an actual price war… 1,2,3,4
everybody is losing in this
thumb war… and I have got to
tell you, my take on this thumb
war is, it is not over yet… it
is not over yet… so AT&T, you
know that it is going to here at
$25 and pay that yield… I think
both companies will be okay, but
I hate any companies that are in
a price war… any companies…so
right now, do not buy until the
smoke clears from the price war.

you
pull the trigger on some

is time to get back in… you know
I like the GLD, you know I like

Jim: I think
Hasbro is a cheap and good

a stock that I recommended it in
Jim Cramer’s

I think that you should buy a
share for your kids too… they
all know it, it is well-run… It

Jim: That is
no beat down... A
beat down is when you go to the
Boardwalk and you give a guy a
beat down after he makes fun of
you… that is no beat down, that
stock is off the bunk for
heavens sake…Hastings is always
welcome, Netflix has a good
business model… I think the
Nintendo Wii is a good
distribution streaming thing… I
may sign up for Netflix this
weekend… I do not want you
selling Netflix, I want you
buying Netflix.

Back up the truck -
indicated by Jim, when he
says the stock is so good,
that he would do a
'mon-back' on the stock...
In other words, this is the
sound someone would say to a
truck driver, "Come on
back... " as he is "backing
up the truck" to load up on
his cargo. Translation
for buying stocks:
This recommendation by Jim
indicates that, after you do
your own
homework on the stock,
you should feel comfortable
loading up on it, as it is
in a good position to be
bought at this point. |

 |
Stumped. - Of the
2,000+ stocks that Jim
Cramer has in his head, for
which he has an informed
opinion, he sometimes comes
across a caller with a stock
he does not know well enough
to opine on... He then
indicates he is stumped and
will have to come back to
it, after he does some
homework of his own on
the stock. This
usually occurs during the
Lightning Round, when Jim
does not know in advance who
is calling, or what their
stock question is about. |
